Business Summary

We are a hobby/educational goods developer with our newly released product: Free creation miniature house blocks (plastic). A US/Japan patented new concept toy blocks for adults (age 14 and up).

The product has just been launced on the Japanese market in July and started retailing online and a major department store. The product is for adults to create their miniature houses with unlimited creativity. It is awarded by the Japan Hobby Association in 2005 when the test marketing was applied. We have just finised upgraded the product and have gained a lot of media attention (major newspapers, TV).

We are a developer and wish to sell the business and get onto new project. We wish companies or individuals interested in this new concept product can expand the market worldwide, as well as in Japan. The product is supposed to be sold in 2 kind of channels: Hobby goods, and book stores(as intellectual goods).

The business-sell-out includes the following: 40 injection molds, US/Japan patent, potential sales channels information in Japan (including potential client data), some established channels in Japan, a well developed website, test marketing reports, marketing know-how, and all the manufacturing data.

The products are manufactured in outsourcing factory in China. Distribution center in Japan is also outsourced. Even an individual can run the business as the manufacturing and the distribution are outsourced as a steady network. What needed to be handled is: send emails (purchasing agreement) to the outsourcing factory, check the quality of the goods before shipment, contact (email) the distribution center for importing, and, get orders by email. As simple as that.
