Business Summary

In the year 1985 was founded Refrigeration & Catering equipment Factory (REFCAT) with the purpose of production of insulated panels, used for cold rooms and freezer rooms, locally under license from TYLER REFRIGERATION Corp. USA.

Production also included Commercial and display refrigerators as used in supermarkets, groceries, restaurants, Hotels, Bars, etc…
Another line added to production at the start-up of the factory was stainless steel commercial kitchen furniture made to measure according to the design and dimension of the kitchen, such as Tables, sinks, cupboards, extraction hoods, trolleys, shelves, etc…

Since the beginning of the plant more products were introduced and modified to go along with market demands, such as insulated truck bodies for transporting foodstuff, truck refrigeration systems using truck engine to drive the units, GSM shelters for telecommunication equipment fitted on rooftops or installed in fields across the countryside. A new line of production was introduced only in 1998 for the production of diesel generating sets sound insulation to reach a very high efficiency level that allows the sets to be installed next to buildings in highly populated areas.

In the year 1999 we started going into special orders for food plants as date dehydrating plants, freezing tunnels used in slaughterhouses, bread cooling tunnels with humidity control, etc…

The factory was built in the first industrial area in Cairo not far from the city center.

In 2008, The factory was moved to Badr Industrial Zone for better facilities and more room.
