The 8 events were held over a period of 10 months. Both owners have full time jobs and the company was a second income to both. Also for 4 months during this (October 2006 to February 2007) all events were put on a stand still as the company was in the process of opening a card room in Cork city centre. Planning was not granted for the card room however so the idea was terminated. As a full time job, the purchaser should be aiming at a minimum of 25 events in a period of 10 months. A member is anyone over 18 who has registered details (including contact details) with the company and has participated in at least 1 of our events. Revenue is generated by hosting large scale poker events in 3 or 4 star hotels in different areas. 8 events have been hosted so far in The Ambassador hotel (Cork), Commons Inn (Cork), The Deanrock (Cork) and the Grand Hotel (Tralee). In only 8 events the turnover of the company is 160,000 euro. Based on this the turnover todate, annual turnover should easily be in excess of ?500,000.
